Patio closed due to rain, lobby was mostly quiet, with a few groups throughout the night. 

Erick completed all batching and restocking. I would like to see what tip pool the mid will be pulling from, as they are doing a lot of behind the scenes work, which is very helpful for service, but I want to make sure we approach this correctly. 

We had a guest at the bar complain that his lobster was undercooked. I talked with him, and wanted to offer him something to make him and his guest happy (he wasn't unhappy, just not thrilled as he is a regular/local and loved everything else-tonight his tab was 300+ for two guests). He declined, complimented our other food, and I gave him the ojai love discount and bought a vesper for him. I talked with octavio and it turned out to be one of the cooks (I think his name is Miguel?) his friend. They were texting back and fourth and Octavio seems to believe that he was trying to make a joke and have it get his friend in trouble (Miguel). I am not sure, but they left happy. 


Ellie had dinner at the bar, had a great time. 

D'ete had a not so pleasant exchange with Erick tonight. At beginning of service, D'ete helped him take orders from guests, and he thanked her, which she replied no problem, we are a team. Later in service, Erick was taking water glasses to stock snug bar with from the hutch that is used by lobby server. D'ete nicely counseled and told him to not pull from these glasses, and to pull from IRD or a closed outlet if needed. He then told her "Well, you said we were a team, right?" in a not so friendly tone. Something to look out for, as this mentality and attitude will not do any benefits to an already fragile team. 


I now have multiple buttons in UKG (like "My Team") but I cannot see anyones punches. So I was unable to put in hours on tip sheets tonight.

 I am going to leave some notes, but add some later. Sorry late night.  KRISTY - can you follow up and ensure that by Monday/Tuesday we have someone sort the grinder issue. Luc replaced the grider with another for now, the one acting up is in the liquor room. You can reach out to Handlebar and Luc has another guy if needed but as I understand it Handlebar sold us that grinder. Please text the F&B thread if you need more contact info. Brandon or Warner can get us. Thanks for handling this and keep us updated. 12/1/25 MEETING WITH FOH TEAM

 oops posted this on my LA BLOG - sorry for delay  Kirsty & Sarah got some Micros time and can put in and remove items! WOO HOO! I think Riley is all set  here too.  Pool floor plan we decided on and I can do it Thurs or Friday when I am back.  Peter is coming by at 3 pm on Thursday to meet with me and another manager, I will go over his written warning.  Lynn will have written warning re: customer complaint, Riley and Luc to do tomorrow.  Luc, Kristy & Sarah, when I am here Thurs and Friday we can review some former Employee Communications to review language and make sure all feel weel here with using UKG and having discussions.  PLEASE KEEP ALL TICKETS KITCHEN AM AND PM, I made a file folder next to Mac, we can review weekly.
