11/24/25 AM Shift Notes

 Busy European Breakfast again this morning. Stayed busy until a little after 10, died down after. I cut Paco at 10:45, but he stayed on the floor untul almost 12, so Jess and I had a small discussion about getting off the floor in a more timely manner, trying to do sidework and tip sheets, etc within 30 minutes. He seemed to understand, I will make a note of the discussion in UKG. 

Rolo and Jazzlyn were on after, but I cut Rolo at 12:15 or so, as Ruben felt comfortable helping Jazz if she got busy, they had a few tables including Ramin for lunch. 

I gave Ramin a discounted bill, and put the remainder on his house account. I let Ramin know, and he said okay is that the new procedure. I want to confirm with Warner if that is definitely the correct procedure. 

I cut Jazz at 2 pm. and Ruben had another table, a couple of guests at the bar, and a couple of orders at the pool. We were closed up by 4:15 or so. 

We did some deep cleaning today, and the juice refrigerator was cleaned out and reorganized so that we can fit the back up berries, and yogurts in there instead of the lowboy in the Cocina kitchen, for ease and convenience for the FOH staff to get them, and not getting in the way of BOH while they're busy cooking a la carte items. 

The drawer was off by $5 when James signed the drawer off to Ruben, between the barista taking the drawer, and the bartender taking over. I text James to see if the drawer was definitely $150 when he counted it, and if so, did he possibly give out too much change? He didn't respond, but we can discuss it later. I'm sure it was a oversight, and too much change was probably given out. I will note it in UKG as well. 

One guest sent their chilaquiles for being cold, we had them remade right away, and I checked in on them, they were very nice, and said they were fine.
