There was a little confusion tonight in regards to the Dinner and a Movie promotion as to whether or not the drink special was open to everyone or just to the people ordering the special. Luc made a call to Jess and the conclusion was that everyone is free to enjoy the drink specials (wine and cocktail) irregardless of if they opt into the dinner special or not.

There was also a little uncertainty as to who was entitled to receive free movie tickets. If people order dinner (special or not) and we still have tickets, they are welcome to them!

Emma came up to me early on in service and said, "are you sure we should be giving out tickets? The wife of the Jackass guy said that the movie is totally sold out." I assured her that David Berger (owner of the Playhouse) saves us seats every week. I decided to text him just to confirm. He replied that we should not pass out any more tickets as they were completely sold out. I asked him what the general rule of thumb was as to how many tickets we should be giving out on a given Wednesday. He said it hadn't been an issue in the past but that moving forward he will save us twenty seats every Wednesday. I still think it might be a good idea for MOD on Wednesdays to check in with David day of.

Barbara from HR came in for dinner. Evan's parents also came in for dinner, as did. My old GM from Rory's Place came in to have dinner at the bar with her mom. Brooke came into the Snug and had some drinks with friends which I put on her house account (thanks for the assist Luc).

I comped a carrot cake for a table via the front desk, we sent out a ceviche to Evan's fam, and I had to comp a couple of ceviche's due to a running mishap (my fault). 

I was looking at the reservations for Christmas Eve and we have availability well past the time we are set to close.  There is a reservation for 8pm that I will call tomorrow to let know that our last seating is at 7pm. Jess- maybe you could help me with some backend stuff on resy tomorrow... we need to adjust reservation cut off for Christmas Eve and potentially Christmas as well.

Luc replaced the grider with another for now, the one acting up is in the liquor room. You can reach out to Handlebar and Luc has another guy if needed but as I understand it Handlebar sold us that grinder. Please text the F&B thread if you need more contact info. 12/1/25 MEETING WITH FOH TEAM

 oops posted this on my LA BLOG - sorry for delay  Kirsty & Sarah got some Micros time and can put in and remove items! WOO HOO! I think Riley is all set  here too.  Pool floor plan we decided on and I can do it Thurs or Friday when I am back.  Peter is coming by at 3 pm on Thursday to meet with me and another manager, I will go over his written warning.  Lynn will have written warning re: customer complaint, Riley and Luc to do tomorrow.  Luc, Kristy & Sarah, when I am here Thurs and Friday we can review some former Employee Communications to review language and make sure all feel weel here with using UKG and having discussions.  PLEASE KEEP ALL TICKETS KITCHEN AM AND PM, I made a file folder next to Mac, we can review weekly.
