12/16/25 AM NOTES
Very slow at European Breakfast, with only 12 guests.
We had 17 covers at lunch, one being a party of 10, so I kept both Rolo and Mia on, which worked out well, since it was a little steady at lunch.
We did not have confirmation from the 10 top either by phone, or resy messaging, so I cut Rolo at 1:45 only for them to show up a few minutes after 2, which was fine, and he stayed on a little so she could get the large groups order in. Only a few of the 10 ordered food, but they all ordered drinks. They seemed to have a nice time, and left a little after 4, and hung out in the lobby for a little bit.
I finally had a chance to have a verbal warning to James about his excessive tardiness, Chef Ann was my witness. He understood, and I hope he will take the conversation seriously, and start being on time.
The switch for the coffee grinder came in from Handlebar, and Luc was going to help fix it, hopefully that will be the trick to getting it to work again.
I spent time looking through shift reports of the few cash discrepancies we had last weekend, and the server reports did report that money was owed, I asked Collin about his, and he said he had Luc verify it, and he dropped it. Luc remembered verifying it as well. Riley was going to talk to Marla more about it.
I reached out to Barbara about Serve Safe codes so that Brandon, and Sydney could use them to take the class, she said each person has an individual code, and will be sent to their email. She said she sent one to Brandon last week, but he did not receive it, and I believe she was going to send another one out.
One couple at lunch today sent their burger for being overcooked, and their egg in their burrito for being overcooked. They were quite picky, but nice as well, for the inconvenience, I gave them our friends and family discount of 25%. They seemed to appreciate it, and tipped the staff very well.
No voids today- Just the 25% discount
La Cocina sales- $1775
