12/25/25 Condor/Snug
Condor: Slow in the beginning, not many tables 2-4pm. The bulk of reservations were 4-6pm. Heavy comps from large parties of Ramin, Warner, Brandon, and Octavio's family. A couple swordfish dips were returned, and have had a few sent back earlier this week. Majority of the complaints are that it's too cold. Most people love it, just noticed it this past week. The holiday menu was well received, and service was smooth. Nearly impossible to seat outside with the torrential downpour, only had one reservation at 6:30 had to wait a few minutes for an open inside table. They've been in all week and were very nice and understanding, comped a round of drinks. Ran holiday hot drinks and eggnog in all outlets.
Snug: Decent flow of walk-ins in the afternoon. Got up to about 80% capacity once or twice. D'ete was two hours late, she apparently got stranded by a downed tree. I swapped Lauren from Condor with Jean from Snug when he arrived, she helped serve lobby until D'ete arrived. Jean held down bar with Erick in Condor. D'ete arrived at around 5:15, kept Lauren in Snug until about 6:30.
Smooth sailing until about 7:15 when all the fire alarms went off. Unsure still what set it off, it was not a fire. Working theory is the rain. It was quite loud and did not go off for about 10-15 minutes. The fire department came to inspect. Quickly moved a couple remaining tables in Condor outside to finish their meals, where it was somewhat quieter. While it was going off multiple parties in the lobby walked off without paying. Sean and Chase are working on it with outside support, Daniel also on site. No further update as of 9:00. A heads up, pilot lights in the kitchen, fireplaces, and La Cocina may need to be relit.
Sonos: It's been messed up the past couple of days. It was not working in lobby or Condor until around 6:00, when it started playing but the levels were all off. Shelby was messing with it for a couple hours, not sure what happened. Chase and Jeremy intervened as well.
Also FYI: Not seeing a tip sheet for Condor from yesterday 12/24. Just a heads up if anyone knows what happened to it.
