12/8/25 AM NOTES

 Pretty steady European Breakfast today. Jill sent out an email, saying we should expect it to be busy, and it was decent. There was a bit more of a flow, instead of one really big rush, which helped with keeping up with the guests, and making sure the station looked nice and full. Rolo calculated 47 European Breakfasts, so that is pretty good. 

Eve called in sick again, once again only 15 minutes before her shift, I was telling her it would be best to let us know the evening or day before, especially if she went to the doctor like she told me. She said she was sick in bed all day, and it was difficult. We were cut off in our conversation on the phone, but she did call me back, and let me know Stacia would be coming for her, but couldn't make it in until 7:30, which was fine. 

Once European Breakfast slowed down around 10:30, we cut Stacia, and then cut Ryan in IRD early, I would say around 12:45. 

It was Rolo, Jazz, and Ruben on the floor with some action at the pool, but not much, and I would say 7 tables for lunch total. 

So Rolo left around 1:30, and Jazz left at 2:15. 

Ruben closed up and did finishing sidework, and we were out of La Cocina by 3:45.

Jazz gave her notice, her last day will be December 17th. I will connect with Marla and see if she can walk me through terminating someone, I believe in UKG, but I did ask Jazz to send me via email her notice, and last day, so we can have her final check ready on time. 

Geoffrey from Handlebar will be by tomorrow to check on the coffee and grinder, and has a part being shipped to us to the hotel. 

I also want to mention we are in need of 2 coffee  air pots, we had 4, but 2 are broken, maybe we can fix those, or find the parts that need to be fixed?? Or purchase 2 more?

The new seating in the bar is off, B1 is actually 40, and B2-B8 are off by one number, so it goes 40, B1, B2 etc. I'm happy to call Gary if possible, or if Jess wants to reach out to him. 

A guest let me know yesterday that they loved the restaurant, but every time she checks Resy it says there is nothing available. I checked it out today, and she is correct. It looks like we need to open up reservations on the back end. I'm happy to assist, if I can get into the account. 

There were a few voids for testing, trying to check the numbers out on the bar. 

We had a few house account comps for Jill, Jeremy, Daniel, and Chris.
