I spent time going through the obvious variances today with Marla. We only went through recorded CC tips, not cash tips, but we are reconciling any cash variances tomorrow. Please see the below.
It is expected to have some growing pains in the first - a few things for managers - PLEASE
Review all your staff check outs every shift next few weeks, make sure sheet is saved and accurate before you go.
PLEASE confirm the total amount of cash and CC tips is accurate to what you have for cash drop and total of CC Tips (TIPS OWED)
PM CLOSING MANAGER - Please email Marla ALL Tip Sheets for Day, she will reconcil in real time, we will print after her review. This is to look out for weird discrepancies.
Here were the issues with the past two weeks just so we are aware.
16th - Cocina$2 missing from Pool Barista
17th - Warner $105 tips not in our pool sheets
James no cashout & not in tip pool
Trent missing cashout
18th - IRD PM off by 19.38 ish dollar - claire
Warner - $75 tips not entered in our pool sheets
AM Room service missing
James $1.00 missing, but in wrong tip pool - should have been in 17th not 18th?

IRD AM RYAN - does it show service charge $18 error in entry, we show a a negative $18
Kirsten 256.90 ?? shows as 240 in back end
20th

I expect most these variances to not be an issue now that we are more used to it. Please make sure the staff records 0 cash tips hand written or $amount cash tips.
