01/02/26 Condor/Snug

116 on the books. Front-loaded with many large reservations from 5-8:00. Busy in both Condor and lobby. 


Eric Goode’s party went very smootly, despite time crunch (they were attending the 7:30 movie accross the street) pushed apps and expedited all the entrees. They made it on time without issue.

 

Atropioa party also went well, they loved everything, expedited their service due to time crunch as well. A few came back after movie for lobby drinks. We reserved the wall couch for them, met with piano player in Snug Bar, told him whatever he needs to let me know. Turned down the Sonos a bit. They had a good time. The lobby completely filled up after 10:00, it got very busy and didn’t clear out until after midnight. Chad sold nearly 1K from 10:15-11AM.  I stayed until about 1AM clearing and resetting snug and lobby. 

 

Two guests staying in room 26, sat at 304. Angela was their server, while training Alexandra. The initial drink order chit either got lost or there was a print issue. Bar said they never saw it. Drinks were comped. They also ordered a Jiycama Salad which they said said they never got, as well as a Tuna Tostada. The kitchen said it went out. Angela told them she would send manager and take care of their check. The woman walked up to the front desk to complain, and to try and pay for the check, despite Angela saying it would be taken care of. I spoke to the guest at length up front, they are having an engagement party in Ojai and having a great stay otherwise. As part of guest recovery I encouraged them to come in for a complimentary meal in any of our outlets this weekend at their convenience. Its been relayed to front desk/HERO. Angela seems a little cluttered lately, and maybe not the best current candidate to train new hires on the floor. Would recommend Emma or Satia. 

 

Erick and Emma got into it a bit. I mediated a little bit, on Emma’s side. She's fine, he's fine,  does appear to be an ongoing issue.

 

86 Pedro Mendez Albarino, it may be unavailable for a while, will remove from menu.

 

Low on Amevive, will also be unavailable for some time. Also removing from menu. Canto De Luna will replace on BTG menu.

 I am going to leave some notes, but add some later. Sorry late night.  KRISTY - can you follow up and ensure that by Monday/Tuesday we have someone sort the grinder issue. Luc replaced the grider with another for now, the one acting up is in the liquor room. You can reach out to Handlebar and Luc has another guy if needed but as I understand it Handlebar sold us that grinder. Please text the F&B thread if you need more contact info. Brandon or Warner can get us. Thanks for handling this and keep us updated. 12/1/25 MEETING WITH FOH TEAM

 oops posted this on my LA BLOG - sorry for delay  Kirsty & Sarah got some Micros time and can put in and remove items! WOO HOO! I think Riley is all set  here too.  Pool floor plan we decided on and I can do it Thurs or Friday when I am back.  Peter is coming by at 3 pm on Thursday to meet with me and another manager, I will go over his written warning.  Lynn will have written warning re: customer complaint, Riley and Luc to do tomorrow.  Luc, Kristy & Sarah, when I am here Thurs and Friday we can review some former Employee Communications to review language and make sure all feel weel here with using UKG and having discussions.  PLEASE KEEP ALL TICKETS KITCHEN AM AND PM, I made a file folder next to Mac, we can review weekly.
