1/20/26 AM NOTES

 It was a very quiet day, not too many guests at the Euro breakfast even. 

We did a lot of deep cleaning, Eve deep cleaned the espresso machine, and did some other cleaning and stocking. Rolo cleaned the server station outside, and organized it. He labeled one of the brooms for La Cocina, and put the other ones in a better spot. Maureen wiped down the front of the bar that was getting pretty dusty, and refilled the salt & peppers, and all the sugar caddies. Jean did some stocking that was needed behind the bar, as well as a little bit of cleaning, he also helped get the bar set up for the small event that was in Cocina tonight. 

I cut Eve and Rolo as soon as Jean and Maureen arrived, I left them both on, although we probably could have gone down to just Jean, but we wouldn't have gotten as much cleaning and organizing done, which was needed after a long and busy weekend. 

It was nice to have Maureen on to check in with pool guests, as well as take the small rush we got at 2, with about 5 or 6 tables. Jean would have gotten overwhelmed with that solo. 

We had a small photo shoot as well, and Daniel needed me to handle a few things to assist with that, so I could focus on that. 

The breakfast menus have been updated with the French Omelet, but the spacing is off, if Riley would like to revise, and reprint. We were almost out of breakfast menus with the Uni & Eggs, so I figured although they weren't perfect, at least they had the correct item on it. The French Omelet still needs to be added to Micros. The staff has been open fooding it in the meantime. A lot of the staff has tried the item, and they are loving it, which always will help to sell it. 

There was an email from Marla in regard to a missing cash drop from Mia on 1/16 for $117, I reached out to Mia about the drop, and she said she had it in her tote bag. I'm not sure how we should handle her not following cash drop procedure, possibly a write up? Her drop was due on Friday, and she hasn't noticed it and it's already Tuesday, and it's only because I reached out to her about the discrepancy that she let me know that she had it and it was in her bag. She also said she would come by, and drop off the money today, but she did not come by time I left at 4:30. She recently dropped a week or two ago, and did not fill out the envelope completely. Marla said she's had a few issues with her drops, more than just these two recent ones. Marla also said that she has to take time out of her day to discover what drops are missing, and the research who it might be, which is frustrating for Marla.  

I think Mia is already on Riley's watch, but there a handful of issues with Mia's job performance. The cash handling, constant tardiness (this has been logged into UKG), calling out sick (mostly because her child has been sick), uniform standards are an issue (wrinkles, hair not secured and put up, and she has been talked to by Riley, Warner, and myself).
