2/21/26 AM SHIFT NOTES

European Breakfast was very busy, and on the earlier side today. The main dining room was full around 8:15. So, it was just one server at that point since our next server arrived at 8:30. We don't run into that too often, but it was a bit stressful for a moment, keeping up with tables and the buffet, and coffee as well. I asked Sundji to come in at 8:30 tomorrow, and it might be good to start the busser shift at 8:30 from now on. It will help us stay ahead of things, instead of playing catch up. Euro breakfast stayed pretty busy until the end, we brought items down soon after 10, and we were out of a few things.

We had a party of 8 at 10:45, which was nice, since at that time we have a bit of a lull. Anna served them, while Paco was on break, and then once he got back it was just the two of them on the floor, and Claire was at the pool.

Claire did okay at the pool, she got a little busy, and we were busy on the floor, so it was difficult to assist her, I had Sundji check in with her to help, I think he tried, but she's not strong enough quite yet to know how to ask for assistance, or how to organize herself to get out what is the priority. I think she'll be fine in time, it might be helpful to have some training as well.

Anna and Erick worked well together today, which is good, I was hoping that we wouldn't have any issues today.

We closed up and we're finished up around 4. Claire finished up her last tables around 4:45, I was making sure she left the pool looking good. Also, we should make sure the pool menu works for the hours of 3-5, the kitchen wasn't too busy, but they had everything for the chopped salad put away, and had to get it all out again. It would be a good question for BOH & FOH to discuss.

There was one lady who got sat when Paco was pretty busy, so I took her order and forgot to put it in, and comped a margarita for her for the delay. Her food came out shortly later, the kitchen rushed it, but she said the chicken taco was cold, and the rice as well, which she said was uneatable. I gave her 50% off her check, which made the most sense to me, since she ate only half her dish.
