2/27/26 AM COCINA NOTES

 Steady Euro breakfast with Jeremy's family staying at the hotel. We had 45 guests join us. I will mention that a lot of the guests were surprised by their checks, may it be a latte, hot tea, etc. we also brought them 0 balance checks for Euro breakfast too. and they were not happy about it. The staff does let them know, it's just a way that we account for the breakfast. I spoke to Shelby and Kiersten and they should be getting checks and signing them to their rooms, so by time the weekend ends they'll be used to it. The staff is just feeling intimidated by the guest response. 

Lunch was okay, steady. We sat just the inside, since we were setting up for the party tonight. 

Claire had a handful of guests at the pool, I needed to let her know and clarify who was on Jeremy's tab, she almost put everything on his tab. Jeremy's MIL was taking care of the rest, and I had to go and confirm that she was good with that, and she was. 

Mia approached me at 2:45 to ask about a handful of guests that were arriving for the party and they wanted to get a snack and drink before we closed, she told me she needed to leave by 3:30 or so, I asked her what time she was scheduled to, and it was 5. So, I told her potentially she may be needed that long. She said she doesn't expect that since she usually leaves around 3 or 4, and makes plans after that. So, I told her to do her best to finish up the guests, and I'll help her as much as possible to get out. 

Claire left around 4:15 from the pool, there was a new guest at the pool which wanted to order, I had Trent transfer it over from me, but he said it's not ideal to watch the pool when its a weekend or when there is an event going on. So, I let Claire know tomorrow that we'll break her, so she can stay a little longer. 

I told housekeeping that we could use the floors to be polished in La Cocina at some point, because there are stains that are hard to get up in some spots. She said she can put a work order for it.
